A magical spot facing the ocean
In December 2015, Monsieur Papier opened its café and stationery shop in a former bar-restaurant—a place where passengers bound for the Île de Sein used to buy their tickets before walking down to the small sheltered harbor of Bestrée below. In the late 1970s, this establishment became the headquarters for locals campaigning against the proposed nuclear power plant intended for the nearby sheltered harbor of Feunteun Aod. We are truly fortunate to welcome you to this place steeped in history.
The Shop
The shop offers our stationery, as well as ceramics created on-site by Lisa Blain—illustrator and co-founder of Monsieur Papier—along with cosmetics, enamelware, games, puzzles, and a wide selection of books sure to delight both young and old.
